About us

A Group of Visual Artist who are going on a journey to Mongolia for charity.

Mud-Lab is an art collective  formed in february 2011 around the decision to enter the Mongol Rally the same year. It consists of 3 friends: Egill, Gunnar and Thor.

This summer Mud-Lab is about to embark on an adventurous journey over one third of the planet. It involves driving at least 18,000 km from Iceland to the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbataar.  Mud-lab will be an artistic laboratory open 24 hours from start to the finish line at the mongol rally. It will go through 20 countries, deserts, mountains and a hell of a lot of no mans land.

The race is organized by The Adventurists and will commence in London on the 24th of July. The main objective of the trip is to raise much-needed money for the following charities:

1. Christina Noble Children’s Foundation is dedicated to taking care of orphans and street children in Ulaanbaatar

2. UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation protecting the rights of children and young people
